Graduate Application and Admissions Information
The UCSD Graduate Studies Application will close on June 11 for upgrades. The 2005-06 Application for Admission will come back online on July 16, 2004. Do NOT use this website to begin a new 2005-06 application as your information may not be saved. After July 16 you may return to this page for information on the new online application, deadlines for the 2005-06 application year, and specific program information. If you are working on a 2004-05 application with a deadline after June 11, 2004, contact Graduate Admissions at gradadmissions@ucsd.edu.
Potential applicants for graduate study at UCSD are advised to access the web site of the department(s) to which they are interested in applying for program information, acceptance requirements, and other materials. In addition to the application for admission, some departments have a pre-application and/or a supplemental application available on the department websites. Applicants bypassing either or both of these requirements will not have a complete file, thus delaying or forfeiting an admissions decision.

There is a new UCSD Graduate Studies Fall 2004 Application. All information you entered into the online application before September 15, will be carried over to the new form. These new parts for Fall 2004 include:
1. Online Statement of Purpose
2. Online application for the San Diego Fellowship
3. Additional questions for some departments and programs
You will need to review your application after September 15 to insure that all questions are answered and all information provided.
