The footbridge Xuntanza has a deck hanged of an upper metallic arch with two helicoidal access ramps. The metallic arch is parabolic in elevation with a rise to span ratio of 1/6,6. This arch is 106 mm. in diameter, 7,5 mm depth in the middle part and 25 mm. depth at the ends.
The deck has a clear span of 26 mtr long, with a parabolic elevation and a rise to span ratio of 1/30, to which two helicoidal access ramps are added. The deck is 18 cm. depth and 2,30 m. wide. The deck is suspended from the arch with 11 pairs of metallic stays bars of 20 mm. in diameter, each separated 2,166 mtr.
The deck is a composite section, of steel and concrete, 18 cm depth, formed by a metallic sheet of 4 mm depth linked with metallic profiles to a slab of concrete 17,6 cm. depth.The deck has longitudinal and transversal stiffenings too.
The deck is suspended from four leaning pylons 368 mm. in diameter and 20 mm. depth. The pylons has four counter metallic stays of 118 mm in diameter and 27,5 mm. depth.
The helicoidal access ramps with 6 mtr radius measuring in the footbridge's axis, supported in 3 vertical pillars and 6 pairs of pillars with V shaped . The pillars have 132 mm. in diameter.

Traffic is never interrupted on this bridge as the bridge moves up ad down with the water level to guarantee a navigable clearance. Linear hinges let the middle span be moved vertically.
