Quality Manual I. Objectives The objective of this procedure is to outline an effective way to perform the quality review by branded QA manager and region-Europe quality manager with PACs on a regular basis. The regular branded quality review is for the purposes to review new product launch issues and field quality feedbacks, to review PACs’ processes and activities affecting the branded product quality and reliability, and to identify the improvement opportunities which will be contributed from PACs to achieve the annual goal of FCR . II. Scope This regular branded quality review mainly covers : 1.​ Issues from new product launch. 2. Lessons learnt from field quality feedbacks 3.​ All manufacturing processes, which may affect the product quality and reliability, from component incoming quality control to product outgoing quality control. III. Definition 1.​ FCR : Field Call Rate 2.​ EC : Engineering Concession 3.​ CP : Change Proposal 4.​ PAC : Product Assembling Center IV. Working procedure 1.​ Responsibility of review : The branded quality review will be conducted by the branded QA manager for factories in China, and region-Europe quality manager ( on behalf of the branded QA manager ) for Szombathely factory with supports from quality managers of factories. 2.​ Frequency of review : The branded quality review will be conducted once per two months. 3.​ Date of review : The exact date of branded quality review will be determined by the branded QA manager and region-Europe quality manager with the quality managers of factories. 4.​ Areas to be reviewed : The focal areas to be reviewed are as follows. 4.1.​  Open issues of customer complaint 4.2.​  Top items of FCR 4.3. Issues of new product launch 4.4.​  PCBA assembling process 4.5.​  Encasing assembling process 4.6.​  Packing process 4.7.​  Storage & Handling process 4.8.​  Quality related EC/CP implementation 4.9.​  Outgoing quality control 4.10. Incoming quality control 5. Reporting of review result : The result of review shall be documented in a standard format ( to be defined by the branded QA manager ), and sent to management team members of factories for improvement actions. The retention time of report of review result will be kept for 3 years. 6. Follow-up of review result: A close follow-up will be conducted by the branded QA manager and his delegates with the quality managers of factories to ensure the close loop of improvement actions. V. Attachment 1. New product launch checklist 2. Branded quality review report form.
