Channel + - 2 if required THE BARRIER AMPLIFIER Mk 13-P-Ex 0 / 24 VDc / k15 The barrier amplifier MK 13-P-Ex 0/24 VDC/K15 enables a galvanic isolated transmission of binary switching status. It has an intrinsically safe control circuit and is certified according to II(1) GD (EExial) IIC. There is a galvanic separation from the control circuit to the output circuit and to the power supply. For the transmission of two channels, two barrier amplifiers of this version are necessary. The control circuit can be monitored concerning wire breaking and short circuit (the monitoring can be switched off via a wire jumper). An error in the control circuit stops the signal output but is not displayed as an error message. Two plus-switching short circuit proof transistor outputs (PNP-outputs) display the digital signal of a channel antivalently.
